Born Steveland Morris in Saginaw, Michigan this singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist was blind at birth on May 13, 1950. He signed to Motown Records at the age of 10 where he did back up work for a number of musicians. Then in 1962, he recorded his first song under the name “Little Stevie Wonder” that Motown founder Berry Gordy gave him.
This week’s "Remake Retake" is a song by the legendary R&B group from Philadelphia known as Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and their 1989 release “Can’t Get Over You”. “Can’t Get Over You” is only one of two songs that ever went all the way to the top of the charts for Maze and is still a classic favorite today.
