Chris Lighty

Self- described as a Husband, Father and Leader Chris Lighty was found dead today from an apparent suicide.  He was 44. He has been a staple in the music industry managing acts like Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, Missy Elliott, and 50 Cent. He was also a member of Boogie Down Productions.

A new website has been launched by the man behind 50 Cent and Diddy. Sources say Violator Management Chris Lighty has developed a site for aspiring artists to share their demos. Chris has managed mega-star artists like Diddy and 50 Cent. The Bronx native is currently taking his expertise to the Internet with a new music demo site.
