Although his attorney initially denied the reports, looks like they were true — early Wednesday morning, rapper T.I. was indeed released from an Arkansas prison.

He’ll serve out what little remains of his sentence at an unidentified halfway house.

Upon being sprung, T.I. tweeted, “Feels great to be back where I belong … back in the arms of those who need me the most … The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”

The Atlanta-based rapper was already on probation for possession of a controlled substance when he was arrested in September. Two months later, he began an 11-month stint for the probation violation at an Arkansas federal prison.
