SWAT Team Kills 107-Year Old Man In Arkansas [VIDEO]

One of America’s oldest citizens has been killed. According to NPR, police responded to a domestic disturbance call of a man firing at two people and when they identified themselves to the resident, Monroe Isadore, they were shot at.

 The Pine Bluff Commercial reports that officers involved in the incident have been placed on paid leave pending an investigation. Statistics from the 2010 US Census peg the US population over 100 at around 53,000 people, with only 8% (around 4240 people) of those over the age of 104.

Since Monroe was as old as he was could the police just have waited for him to eventually fall asleep since they were able to place a camera in the house and see what was going on? A man at 107 may not have been thinking logically and could have been making some very bad elderly decisions as well!
