Suge Knight has dropped his lawsuit against Chris Brown.

TMZ reports that Suge dropped the lawsuit he filed against Brown, which stemmed  from a 2014 shooting at 1 OAK nightclub. Suge was shot seven times at the pre-VMA party hosted by Brown. Brown  was believed to be performing when the shots rang out. Suge claimed security was lacking, which is how he ended up being shot.

The site reports that Brown's lawyers from the law firm, Geragos & Geragos, sent a "nasty" letter to Suge's legal team urging him to drop the suit because it held no standing, and that Brown would counter with a "malicious prosecution lawsuit."

It apparently worked, as Suge has reportedly dropped the suit, with no monetary compensation from Brown.
