With the dissension that takes place in hip-hop at times, it’s wonderful to see so many rappers unite and speak about the Eric Garner, Michael Brown and Tamir Rice cases. Styles P is the latest artist to sound off on the subject of race and police brutality in the new song ‘White N—-z.’

Over perpetual keyboard sounds and prominent drums, the LOX member speaks to those in white America who still have racist views.

“Give me some racist crackers and just sit them down / Let me tell them some s— they ain’t figure out / Your little white son in his room playing hip-hop loud that’s my n—- now / Yeah I said it, he a n—- too, you wanna kill me you should kill him too / If this is God’s house where’s the living room? / I’m strapped and I see a white cop should I give it to him,” he spits.

‘The Phantom and The Ghost’ creator also tells the black community to remember its leaders like Malcolm X; Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela. He also talks about some of the atrocities that have taken place against African-Americans throughout history, while suggesting that not much has changed.

This isn’t the first time Styles has put his militant hat on. Back in 2006, he created the socially conscious ‘I’m Black,’ featuring Floetry’s Marsha Ambrosius. A good number of his rhymes since then have been peppered with political talk.

Take a listen to the powerful cut and let us know if you agree with what Styles P is saying, since the topic of the song has become a part of the national dialogue as of late.
