Sprint and T-Mobile Are Said to Be Close to Merging

Apparently Sprint and T-Mobile are in advanced discussions about merging, and a deal could be announced as soon as this weekend!

Such a deal would complete one of the telecommunications industry’s most anticipated transactions and would create the third-largest wireless carrier in the United States, with more than 127 million customers.

I don't know how good this will be i switched from Sprint to T mobile only for the lack of coverage it had in the buffalo/ WNY Area.

Sprint and T-Mobile have acknowledged that the companies must grow, and gain, to better compete against the industry’s leaders, Verizon and AT&T.

So the race to beat Verizon and AT&T has began but this is not there first attempt to merge. The first time in 2014 because of opposition from regulators in the Obama administration and the second last year because of disputes over control of the combined company.

I just hope my service gets better, I better be able to facetime in the middle of the ocean or something!
