Soulja Boy is facing some legal trouble for canceling a show and leaving promoters in the hole. The ATL rapper has been sued for $1 million along with his label Interscope Records and MySpace Music over a concert scheduled to take place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania last December. According to sources, Joseph Sheldon Brewster, owner of TrinCity Entertainment filed the suit against the defendants after an agreement was made that SB would perform December 10, 2010. The company paid an advance of $16,250 in addition to transportation and marketing expenses that totaled almost $12,000. It turns out that TrinCity promoted the performance then Interscope attempted to cancel the show because of conflicts with another show that was scheduled for the same date. The suit also claims that Soulja Boy kept the $16,250 deposit when it should have been returned. TrinCity is seeking $1,000,000 in damages for unjust enrichment and breach of contract.
