It's Friday! Time for another edition of Songs of the Week, where we give a run-down of the loosies that you may have missed in the past seven days. Last week, we saw another stellar bunch of songs from the likes of DeJ Loaf, Action Bronson and Prince.

This week may have been quiet in terms of new music from the rap heavyweights, but a few up-andcomers managed to save the day and provide us with some great songs.

While the final cuts for this week drove us crazy, only three tracks are lucky to get the distinction of Songs of the Week. Our latest lineup of tunes are from Papoose, Emilio Rojas, and Chevy Woods.

So enjoy this week's selection below.

    "The Plug"

    Papoose

Papoose may catch a bad rap on social media from internet trolls, but you'd be sadly mistaken to assume that he's not more than capable behind the mic. The rapper's latest one-off, "The Plug," is evidence of his lyrical abilities. On the song, Pap rips it with verbiage of a veteran rhyme-spitter. Produced by DJ Premier, "The Plug" is beats, rhymes, and life at its finest.

    "No Good"

    Emilio Rojas Featuring Emanny

New York lyricist Emilio Rojas has a bird-in-hand with his latest heater, "No Good." Linking up with vocalist Emanny, the Latin assassin gets hot and heavy while taking aim at the ladies with his flirty musings. Be sure to check out Emilio's new project L.I.F.E.

    "All Said And Done"

    Chevy Woods Featuring DeJ Loaf

Chevy Woods has been on the grind for quite some time, but it looks like he may be closer to the top than ever with his new single, "All Said And Done." Produced by Anthony M. and Ricky P., the track features rising newcomer DeJ Loaf handling hook duties while Chevy speaks on the ills of his hood and his road to success. Serving up a dish of food for thought, Chevy Woods is sitting fat at the top of this week's edition of Songs of the Week for his efforts.
