The year was 1984, and I had just entered my second year of college. I will never forget how the ladies would get their groove on to “Somebody’s Else’s Guy;” this was the anthem for the ladies.

The opening note of this song was like an alarm going off, and the ladies would yell, throw their hands in the air, grab the brother’s hands and pull them on the dance floor while screaming “This is my song!”
