What if you could meet up with all your friends and followers on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and MySpace in real life, all at one place?

You know that guy on Twitter who posts the funniest tweets? What if you had a chance to meet the man behind the @? Or that girl who is pure perfection in her Facebook photos -- do you ever wonder what she looks like in person? This Saturday in Buffalo, all of your questions will be answered at the 2012 Social Media Day meetup.

In 2010, a meetup group called Mashable came up with the idea to celebrate the social networking revolution while bringing real people together in the flesh. The event was so successful that now, over 500 American cities have signed on to host Social Media Day in their town.

Here in Buffalo, online socialites will meet up on Saturday, June 30th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lobby Bar inside Staler City. The event will feature a DJ, networking among participants, food and drink specials and informational tables from organizations around the area. Tickets are $5 in advance, and proceeds go to Computers for Children.
