Okay Snoop Dogg is out here doing big things! The rapper, or shall I say gospel artist’s first-ever gospel album came in at number one Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.

This is amazing news for Snoop, who credits his late grandmothers, Dorothy Tate, for introducing him to gospel and motivating him to put out his own gospel album.

Snoop previously sat down with ABC Radio and said that he wanted an album

“based on love, that’s just all about love.”

The 32 track album taps Gospel heavyweights such as Erica Campbell, Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett and Charlie Wilson. In his first attempt, he has scored a #1 on the Gospel Chart to add his never ending tally which includes six #1 R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and a single #1 on the Reggae charts as Snoop Lion. Three tracks from Bible of Love have entered the Hot Gospel Songs Chart. "Snoop Dog Presents: Bible of Love" also becomes the rap icon's 25th entry on the Billboard 200"
