Recently, Timbaland did an interview and expressed concern over the release of the song. He said that he felt that it was inappropriate for Drake to release Aaliyah's music without him and/or Missy Elliott.

Timbaland and Missy were two of the first rappers to appear on Aaliyah’s music -- not to mention, they produced several of her songs.
