There is a big debate going on right now in Buffalo about closing two of the lowest performing schools in the state and turning them into charter schools. The schools are East High & Waterfront Elementary.

There is a lot of finger pointing going on that state Education Department was working with the charter supporters without the School Board’s knowledge.

The most important thing is how the schools can be improved by those in the power of authority to take care of the educational needs of the students, whether it remains as is, or changed to a charter school.

What are your predictions and comments, I’d love to hear them?
