Security on ‘High Alert’ Anticipating Atlantic City Summerfest 2011

Promoters for Atlantic City’s Summerfest 2011 hired hundreds of security guards and police officers to handle security for the concert which is expected to draw over 7,000 people.  

The Fourth of July weekend celebration include performances by Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Beanie Sigel.

“People are nervous,” Officer Jubilee told the press of Atlantic City. “But it’s not with the lineup. Whenever you have a whole lot of people gathered in one spot, there are those concerns whether it’s a hip-hop concert or Dave Matthews.”

Summerfest will be held at the Sandcastle Stadium on July 2^nd.
