Police in Winnfield, La., have made a second arrest in the ongoing investigation of Lil Snupe's murder, according to MTV News. The suspect, 21-year-old Edrick O. Stewart, was arrested on July 3 and charged with manslaughter.

No bond has been set for Stewart and authorities wouldn't release any details regarding his involvement in the homicide.

Snupe's suspected killer, Tony Holden, remains in jail, charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He's being held on a $2 million bond.

As we previously reported, Snupe was shot and killed on June 21 during an altercation over a video game bet. The 18-year-old rapper was fatally shot twice in the torso and died on the scene.

Friends and family held a funeral for Lil Snupe on June 29 at Jonesboro-Hodge High School in his hometown of Jonesboro, La. Among those in attendance was Snupe's mentor Meek Mill.

“I’m never one to talk (at funerals),” said Mill. “I saw something in him. His demo tape spoke to me. I saw myself in him.”

The death of Lil Snupe has left a heavy toll among the young people in the Jonesboro community who knew the rapper.

“I feel like you take a child’s life...it was precious and it hurts...," said a childhood friend. "You took away a friend, a son, and an icon to a lot of people."
