Now here is a story about a group of indigenous people in Minnesota that are trying to save their native language “Ojibwe”. Some of the young members of the community are putting their rap skills to good use by incorporating their native tongue in song. I think that this is a great example of what it means to “Know Thyself” because it speaks to the roots and origins of who this group of people is in relation to their spiritual existence on this planet. They are trying to preserve their inner communication to hold their people together so that the generations to come will never forget who and what they are and always have that native language in which to pass on infinitely.

This rap song does not speak to materialism, buffoonery, or degradation of women; just the realness of who this clan of people are and their relationship to the universe.
