Russell Simmons…MySpace CEO?

Well sort-of...

Hip-Hop Mogul and founder of Def Jam Recordings 'hijacked' the music section of MySpace with hopes of improving it.

Simmons asked users of the social network, "I'm new CEO (chief executive officer) for a week...Taking over MySpace next week any ideas... what should I do to improve it?"

In a statement he issued, Mr. Simmons said "Over the past week, I have had the great pleasure of taking over Myspace, which was supposed to end on Thursday, but I just couldn't let go..."

I wonder how long he's going to stay on-board?
