Ahoy matey! Rick Ross makes his directorial debut with his video for ‘Pirates,’ a track featured on his latest album, ‘God Forgives, I Don’t.’
The clip was shot in Miami and it features babes, thugs and picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean. The story follows the Bawse and his bikini-clad partner-in-crime on a speedboat as they make a lucrative exchange by the sea. Everyone leaves happy as we see Ross speed off into the sunset as a richer man.
The video also intercuts with scenes of Rozay sitting on a magnificent throne spitting his gritty rhymes while puffing on his cigar. “Homicides stay on my mind / Christopher Wallace of my time / R.I.P. to the legend / Tupac Shakur with a nine,” he raps.
As promised, Ross has shot videos for nearly every song on ‘God Forgives, I Don’t.’ Only ‘Maybach Music IV,’ ‘Ashamed,’ ‘Ice Cold’ and the Andre 3000-featured ‘Sixteen’ are left to receive visuals.
Rick Ross’ ‘GFID’ has been certified gold and has earned him a Best Rap Album nomination at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
