This morning’s battle features a group of guys out of Flint, Mich. known as Ready For The World.

They enjoyed a string of hits that were in the top 10, two of which held the number #1 position for two straight weeks. Their biggest hit was “Oh Sheila” in 1985.

Tony! Toni! Tone! is a trio of gentlemen from Oakland, Calif. that consisted of brothers Raphael Saadiq and D'wayne Wiggins, with cousin Timothy Christian Riley.

In the late '80s to early '90s, they were probably the hottest R&B male group in the country. With songs like “It Never Rains (In Southern California)” and “Whatever You Want”, they enjoyed five number one songs, one of which was certified gold!
