Ray J is getting sued for $30 million over a scooter business deal gone bad.

TMZ reports that the singer/reality star was supposed to go into partnership with a man named Jean Paul back in 2015. The plan was to market electric scooter bikes. But things haven't gone as planned.

In this suit, Paul says Ray J "arguably maintains a certain level of celebrity" and his popularity was supposed to help market the scooter. He was also supposed to be an investor in the company.

However, now Paul claims that Ray J launched his own scooter company—which put the star in direct competition with him, leading to Paul's $30 million lawsuit.

Back in November, Ray J secured a $31 million wholesale deal to launch his electric transportation company, Raycon. The deal was finalized in the form of equity and cash with Cowboy Wholesale, a leading distributor of consumer electronics based in New York City. Ray J’s Raycon was formed in 2015 and is famous for the Scoot-E-Bike, a foldable, eco-friendly bike on two wheels.

As of now, no one from Ray J's camp has responded to the lawsuit or the allegations.
