Raven-Symone’s Gay Marriage Tweet Causes Stir About Singer’s Sexuality

Twitter was abuzz today with news that singer and kid star Raven-Symone has come out as a lesbian.

Raven, known for playing Olivia on 'The Cosby Show' and being one of Disney's Cheetah Girls, tweeted "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you."

Though Raven didn't specially acknowledge being gay, she did retweet a fan who said that she has been out. "She been out, momma just didn't have time for bulls---. and I LIVVVEEE "

Last year, Raven was hit with rumors about her sexuality and whether she was dating a contestant on 'America's Next Top Model.'

US Magazine shares that Raven said at the time, "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm dating to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life," she continued. "However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone. I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!"

The entertainer has released four studio albums, including her last self-titled project in 2008.
