Rappers Lead Nominations For The NAACP Awards
42nd Annual NAACP Image Awards will possibly be honoring rappers LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Cee Lo Kanye West and B.O.B. who are all in the running. It's being reported that LL is up for best "Actor in a Drama Series" for NCIS: Los Angeles, while Nicki Minaj, Willow Smith, B.o.B., will battle it out for the "Best New Artist" category. Willow's mom Jada Pinkett-Smith is up for best "Actress in a Drama" for her role in Hawthorne, and Jay-Z, Kanye, and Cee Lo Green will compete for "Best Outstanding Male." The 42nd Annual NAACP Awards special with air Friday, March 4th on FOX.
