Pusha T Pushes Back @ Drake
Lil Wayne has taken to Twitter with his ongoing beef with G.O.O.D. music artist/rapper Pusha T, tweeting today:
Pusha T just-released single ‘Exodus 23:1′ which has the Internet going nuts over his subliminal diss aimed supposedly at Drake, Lil Wayne and YMCMB. On the haunting track, Pusha T makes reference to Drake being signed to Lil Wayne who is signed to Cash Money whose label is being distributed by Universal Music group.
“Contract all [expletive] up / I guess that means you all [expletive] up / You signed to one [expletive], that’s signed to another [expletive], that’s signed to three [expletive]/ Now that’s bad luck / Damn that [expletive] even the odds now / You better off selling this hard now / You call it living out your dreams / You can’t fly without your wings,” he spits.
The pair’s feud (between Wayne and Pusha) first began in 2006, when Lil Wayne and Pusha’s group Clipse had a war of words, but in a 2011 interview Pusha claimed there was no longer beef between them, saying
“Ever since Lil Wayne went in to jail, that whole little stint is really dead and over with. I don’t have any ill will towards Wayne, Cash Money or any of them.”
Drizzy hasn’t responded to Pusha T’s alleged diss towards him YET. Maybe Pusha took offense to Drake’s slight jab on Meek Mill’s smash song “Amen” by saying “G.O.O.D ain’t good enough, and your hood ain’t hood enough.” Although it’s not clear if Drake was talking to Pusha T on that record.
Stay tuned as this beef continues to heat up, but first tell us your opinion on it? What’s the point with all these rapper’s coming at each other; do you feel it’s nothing but a pry for Pusha T to become more relevant?
