Orange Is The New Black” is coming to an end in 2019. Netflix announced the cancellation of the popular series on social media today with a post that read: “Warning: This may make you cry. The Final Season, 2019. #OITNB.”

Season 7, which is slated to premiere next summer, will be our final ride with Piper, Crazy Eyes, Taystee, Dayanara and the rest of the inmates at Litchfield.

series creator Jenji Kohan said in Deadline,

“After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison,” “I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”
