President Barack Obama says his family isn’t  “invested” in him being president and would have been fine had he not decided not to seek re-election.  But he says they believe in what he is doing for the country.

According to the Huffington Post. Obama was asked how his family felt about  him seeking another term. He said his family wouldn’t  care if he wanted to do something different.

He says first lady Michelle Obama wouldn’t mind him doing something less stressful if she didn’t believe in what he was doing for the country.

Obama’s interview aired on  NBC’s “Today” show.
