Gucci caught a lot of heat last week for the blackface sweater that they released. That sweater has outraged folks to the point where tons of entertainers are asking for a Gucci Boycott reining from T.I and Spike Lee.Fashion icon, Dapper Dan, has revealed that he will be meeting with the CEO of Gucci this week.

Dapper Dan became a global name after his custom designs were embraced by the Black community Harlem in the 1980s and 1990s and even once Gucci. This is what head had to say on his twitter about the current situation.

"I am a Black man before I am a brand," Dapper Dan wrote on social media. "Another fashion house has gotten it outrageously wrong. There is no excuse nor apology that can erase this kind of insult.

"The CEO of Gucci has agreed to come from Italy to Harlem this week to meet with me, along with members of the community and other industry leaders,” he continued in the post. “There cannot be inclusivity without accountability. I will hold everyone accountable."
