Meek has been in jail since November serving a 2-4 year sentence for a probation violation but the rapper now has a April 16th court date with Judge Genece Brinkley in hopes of having his sentence overturned!

Meek's legal teams claims that a previous judge shows bias when she allegedly asked the rapper to leave his Roc Nation management for a local manager who she had connections with.  There was also an incident where a County Clerk slipped him a note asking for money for her child's tuition.

It has also been revealed that one of the police offers that that testified in one of Meek's trials fabricated his testimony back in 2007  when he claimed that Meek pointed a gun at him. This same officer's name popped on a list of documented incidents where several officers had a history of lying, racial bias, or abuse of power.

Hopefully Meek will be a free man soon!
