Well it's reported that Hurricane Joaquin is making her way to New York this weekend. I've created some movies that would be in you're best interest to watch with someone of age lol! Check out the list to see if you're favorite movie made the cut.

Boomerang
Eddie Murphy plays Marcus Graham, a hotshot advertising executive who also happens to be an insatiable womanizer and male chauvinist. When he meets his new boss, Jacqueline Broyer (Robin Givens), Marcus discovers that she is essentially a female version of himself, and realizes he is receiving the same treatment that he delivers to others. The film features supporting performances by Halle Berry, David Alan Grier, and Martin Lawrence.

Brown Sugar
Starring Taye Diggs and Sanaa Lathan, the film is a story of a lifelong friends, A&R Andre and Editor in Chief Sidney. The two can attribute their friendship and the launch of their careers to a single, seminal childhood moment – the day they discovered hip-hop on a New York street corner.

Coming to America
Another classic from Eddie Murphy who plays African crown prince, Akeem Joffer, from the fictional nation of Zamunda, who comes to the United States in the hopes of finding a woman he can marry.

The Wood
One of my all-time favorite movies!! Three old friends Mike (Omar Epps), Roland (Taye Diggs) and Slim (Richard T. Jones) recount memories of their shared childhood in Inglewood, Calif., as they prepare for Roland’s wedding to his fiancée, Lisa (LisaRaye McCoy).

T.V. Shows (House of Cards/ Family Guy/Martin/ etc.)
You can never go wrong when it comes to binge on any classic TV show. And besides you will be surprised how many people have never seen Martin or a lot of other great T.V. Sitcom’s/Drama’s.

Oceans 11-13
The Ocean’s Trilogy is a series of three caper comedies directed by Steven Soderbergh. The films combine well-known elements from heist films and con artist films, presented in a slick and cool style, with a notable absence of violence and gunplay, and an emphasis on humor and lightheartedness

Limitless
With the help of a mysterious pill that enables the user to access 100 percent of his brain abilities, a struggling writer (Bradley Cooper) becomes a financial wizard, but it also puts him in a new world with lots of dangers.

Hitch
Alex “Hitch” Hitchens (Will Smith) is a professional “date doctor” who coaches other men in the art of wooing women, with a focus on long-term relationships.

Superbad
Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) want nothing more than to lose their virginity before they head off to college. To do that, though, they need to get liquor for the big party that night. With the help of their friend Fogell, a.k.a. McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and his fake I.D., the three of them go on a hilarious chase for that elusive booze, dodging incompetent cops, angry neighbors and jealous boyfriends.

Any Marvel Movie (minus the Spiderman ones)
Because theirs like 3 different versions of the same Spiderman movie and the first one is kind of a mood killer. With the newer version being kind of depressing.

Dark Knight
A sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gylenhaal and Morgan Freeman. With the help of police lieutenant James Gordon (Oldman) and newly-elected district attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart), Batman (Bale) raises the stakes on his war on crime by setting out to dismantle the remaining mafia groups that plague the streets. The partnership proves effective, until the mob draw Batman into combat with stopping a criminal lunatic known as “the Joker” (Ledger) from unleashing a reign of chaos that would plunge Gotham City into becoming an anarchy.

Old School
The film stars Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Will Ferrell as three depressed thirty-somethings who seek to re-live their college days by starting a fraternity, and the tribulations they encounter in doing so.

American Psycho
A wealthy New York investment banking executive hides his alternate psychopathic ego from his co-workers and friends as he escalates deeper into his illogical, gratuitous fantasies.

Fight Club
An insomniac office worker, looking for a way to change his life, crosses paths with a devil-may-care soap maker, forming an underground fight club that evolves into something much, much more…

Any Spike Lee Joint
This one was originally on our other list until we realized  that Spike Lee movies may be kind of be a mood killer and have your partner shouting “Black Power” rather than other things.

Stardust
He who shall remain nameless believed that magical kingdom, fairies, and a fallen star trying to make its way back to the sky would make an amazing precuddie movie…. Ummm the rest of us had to disagree.

Juno/Knocked Up
The complete mood killer let’s just leave it at that.
