Following accusations of rape against Nelly, the alleged accuser now claims the rapper is intimidating her.

According to a report from TMZ, the alleged victim's attorney, Karen Koehler, says Nelly sent a letter to prosecutors, which Koehler sees as a verbal attack. The attorney said, "It is morally reprehensible for an accused person and his bully lawyer to issue derogatory and defamatory statements against a young alleged rape victim."

Koehler added, "It is also criminal -- in the state of Washington -- when those vicious attacks are issued in the form of threats." The alleged victim's attorney also singled out Nelly's lawyer for saying the accused is "a person with an agenda and clearly she has one. The agent is money, fame and notoriety."

After the news broke, the rapper's attorney, Scott Rosenbaum, fired back, saying, "I would suggest rereading the [intimidating a witness] statute. I would further suggest talking to some of the unbiased witnesses." The lawyer added, "Nelly will continue to respond to her client's baseless allegations."

Nelly was arrested for alleged sexual assault on Oct. 6. While the rapper has not been charged with any crime, he did release a statement proclaiming his innocence. "Let me say that I am beyond shocked that I have been targeted with this false allegation, he tweeted. "I am completely innocent."
