The well respected base of African American affairs, the National Urban League, reports that Black America is in a crisis.

Citing a gap of employment rates between other races as well as social injustices, although the equality index says we're in the best position we have ever been, we still have significant issues.

“The index shows a slight increase in overall status, but it also shows that from a 10 year horizon, the gaps have gotten wider,” Urban League CEO Marc Morial told BOSSIP.

Reports show that blacks are getting a little over half of the economic equality across the country.In other words, in cities where the unemployment rates (blacks) was around 20%, the unemployment rate for whites was near 8%.
