The Music of Marvin Gaye is coming to the Tralf Music Hall on November 6, at 7:30 p.m.

After a roof raising performance this past May the Tralf Music Hall is proud to present this show to its Buffalo audience. This concept is unprecedented in the R&B genre not even the original artists ever presented their songs live exactly as they were recorded with full instrumentation. The finest vocalists and musicians from the region will bring Marvin Gaye’s music to life in the purest form possible.

Marvin Gaye was a Motown star who challenged and changed the face of black music, embodying its evolution from roots in gospel, jazz and rhythm and blues to sophisticated pop and sexually, politically charged soul. “What’s Going On”: An Anthology of Marvin Gaye’s Music will capture the tone and texture of his career – one that still leaves an indelible mark on the musical landscape come and experience the Genius that is Marvin Gaye.

General Admission to the event is $35.  Join Harold Pannell (vocals), Tony Padilla (percussion), Maxine Sturtevant (violin), Katrina Ruggiero (violin) and Emmett Ientilucci (drums).
