Mother Accused of Beheading Her 3-Month-Old Daughter [VIDEO]

A College Hill, Ohio woman is accused of beheading her infant daughter, according to WCPO.

The television station goes on to report:

"Deasia Watkins, 20, is charged with aggravated murder in connection with the death of her 3-month-old girl, according to police.

Cincinnati police said officers responded to a home in the 5900 block of Waldway Ln. at about 6 a.m. Monday and found the 3-month-old dead inside.

An early investigation showed the baby suffered "multiple traumas," according to Hamilton County Coroner Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco. The coroner said Monday it was unclear if Watkins acted alone.

"It's days like this when you really wonder how much evil there is in the world and how we're fighting it,” Sammarco said. “We're trying to do right by this child. We're trying to bring justice for this baby."

Sammarco said her investigative team will meet over the next several days before releasing more details."
