Monica and Brandy have teamed up for a new song ‘It All Belongs to Me,’ which will impact radio on Feb. 6, reports Rap-Up. The songbird’s reunion is remarkable considering that it’s been 14 years since the duo’s 1998 Grammy-winning hit ‘The Boy Is Mine,’ which spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their new song ‘It All Belongs to Me,’ was written and produced by hitmaker Rico Love.

Last year, Monica posted photos of her and Brandy recording the song in Miami on her Twitter page. “We have Both Been Blessed Beyond Measure..14years later,” she tweeted.

Monica is prepping her upcoming seventh album ‘New Life,’ which has a release date of March 6 through RCA Records. Last year, she posted the cover art of the album, but we don’t know if that image has changed or not. The R&B songbird overhauled the album sonically with new producers and songwriters.

After months of postponements, it’s good to see that Monica’s album is getting a “new life” in the marketplace.
