Michelle Obama Talk About Racism From When She Was First Lady

While speaking at the 30th anniversary event for the Woman's Foundation of Colorado in Denver, CO. Mrs. Obama shared how sexism and racism affected her experience as the first black First Lady in US History.

The shards that cut me the deepest were the ones that intended to cut. Knowing that after eight years of working really hard for this country, there are still people who won't see me for what I am because of my skin color.
