More than a year has gone by since Marvin Sapp lost his wife, MaLinda Sapp to colon cancer.  "We miss her and, every day, we talk and think about her," Sapp tells the Grand Rapids Press.  "But the kids are doing well.  And as long as they do well, I'm gonna do well."  (Belle Report)

Marvin Jr., 17; Mikaila, 14 and Madisson, 12 with their father, they are adjusting to the loss of MaLinda, thanks to help from family counseling and support from members of their church Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, MI.  The family has been together even when Marvin's preaching and music engagements over the summer took him out-of-town,  his children were able to join him.

Coming up, Marvin will set out on a nine city tour with the “How Sweet the Sound” gospel choir competition.  His busy schedule will not keep him away from home every Sunday.  The gospel star is also gearing up to do his next album, which will be recorded live at a church near Washington D.C.  The CD will be Marvin's first since MaLinda's passing.
