Matthew Flugence, the Louisiana man charged in the murder of 6-year-old Ahlittia North, allegedly told a detective that the little girl seduced him into having sex before he stabbed her to death, according to the NOLA.com.

“In his words, the little girl, she wanted to have sex with him,” Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Detective Travis Eserman testified Wednesday during a preliminary examination.

It has been reported by several news sources that Flugence is the nephew of Ahlittia’s stepfather and often served as her babysitter and sometimes lived with the couple.
