Fight videos have become one of the most popular trends on social media. Video websites like Worldstar HipHop have built their empire off of fight clips. But there’s a viral video that has people applauding one man who stepped in to stop a fight between two teenagers.

In the four minute video above, two teens start scrapping on the street with the crowd egging the boys on to continue their fisticuffs. Then out of nowhere, it seems, a local man walks up and berates the instigators.

“Everybody with your phones out, all y’all, you’re the real cowards - record that too. Everybody on the phones, record that. Everybody recording the phone, real cowards,” he tells the crowd. “It ain’t cool, man, y’all in the middle of the street.”

Then the man performs a jedi mind trick on the two kids and forces them to reverse their energies on the real enemy. “Look at the trick of the devil, who ill advised you?” he asks them. “Y’all are men - start acting like it.”

“Straight up, yo, anybody who laughs at you, while you’re upset, they ain’t your friend,” he added. “Y’all got parents, yo. Don’t make your parents look like this...If you live around here, you live somewhere good. Don’t mess that up.”

Eventually, the man convinces the two kids to shake hands and go their separate ways. Apparently, the teens were fighting over a text. Good Lord, really?

Since the video was posted on Monday (March 20) via Facebook, the clip has garnered over 5 million views. On Twitter, it has notched 83,000 retweets and 131,000 likes.
