Lil Yachty is gearing up for the release of his Lil Boat 2 mixtape, but before the project releases on March 9, the Atlanta rapper previews new music from the upcoming record.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Yachty shared a trio of new songs but didn't reveal any more information about the tracks. While it's not confirmed, the first song previewed appears to be produced by Pi'erre Bourne, as it features his signature tag.

The third track in the video features Lil Yachty using a laid-back flow over a trap beat. "Just left the club, that shit was weak/Grab me a hoe off the street/Wait til I leave, I'm finna fuck/Beat it til I fall asleep/Your baby daddy a sucka/Your baby daddy a busta," he can be heard rapping before the video cuts off.

On Wednesday (Feb. 21), Yachty shared the release date and cover for his upcoming project. Keeping with the nautical theme, the Lil Boat 2 artwork features the rapper standing shirtless in the water. The mixtape is set to arrive exactly two years after the release of the first Lil Boat project.

Along with the forthcoming Lil Boat 2, Lil Yachty is also working on a joint project with Takeoff. "I been quiet, just finishing my shit up. That was me and Takeoff, by the way. Me and Takeoff's project coming real soon," he said on Instagram after previewing a new song.
