Lil Weezy to Open Skate Park [VIDEO]

Lil Wayne recently confirmed rumors that he would be spending less time in the studio and more time on his skateboard going into 2013. And with the help of Brad Pitt and Mt. Dew, Weezy is set to open a state-of-the-art Skater's paradise in New Orleans.

We all heard about the devastation in N.O.'s lower 9th ward caused by hurricane Katrina in 2005. As the city continues to rebuild, Lil Wayne hopes to inspire the youth to take part in the skate board revolution that bringing people of all races together in a fun and positive way.

Sponsored by Mt. Dew and the Make it Right Foundation, Weezy's new "DEWeezy" Skate Park and TV campaign encourages kids to "Dew You".  DuWayne Carter is living proof that you don't have to be the greatest skate boarder to go out there and have fun!

DEWeezy Park is set to open for business and pleasure on August 29th.
