On Sunday (June 10), Lil Wayne's classic Tha Carter III will celebrate its 10th anniversary and to celebrate the occasion, Spotify has recreated the album's iconic cover with the baby photos of rappers inspired by Weezy.

The streaming music service teamed up with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, YG, Chance The Rapper, Wiz Khalifa, DJ Drama, Offset, Takeoff, Young M.A and many more to use their baby pictures in place of Wayne's famous photo. Along with the recreated covers, Spotify also got the artists to talk about what Weezy and Tha Carter III mean to them.

"Lil Wayne showed me to be you and never let someone tell you different," said Takeoff. "If it feels right it's not wrong." Tyga also commented on the album, and revealed he was in studio with Wayne when the project was being recorded. "I was in the studio with Wayne everyday around this time," he said. "I was really watching a master at work."

One of Weezy's closest collaborators, T-Pain, also shared a heartfelt message about how he was inspired to work with Wayne after hearing "Lollipop." “After 'Lollipop' dropped, it was my mission to work with Wayne," he revealed. "Wayne’s influences on the rap game are still very much apparent in today’s music and, I’m sure, for many generations in the future."

Since the release of Tha Carter III nearly 10 years ago, Tunechi has gone on to release a number of other albums, including Tha Carter IV. Up next for the rapper is Tha Carter V, which has been hit with numerous delays but may finally see the light of day after Wayne was released from Cash Money Records earlier this week.
