Lil Wayne And Nicki Minaj Recieve Teacher Of The Year Award [The Big Dummy Files]

Getty Images
This is ridiculousness at its finest LIL WAYNE AND NICKI MINAJ named the TEACHERS OF THE YEAR !!!!

According to The South Florida-based Better Education Place named the two as the Best Male and Best Female Teachers after judging them on several categories and deeming them more influential than the teachers who actually commit themselves to children’s education.

“Apparently students are drawn in by the ‘swagger,’” says Melvin El, president of Better Education Place. “If you are a teacher today and you don’t have any swagger, you are going to struggle to get your students’ attention. It turns out a teacher can learn a lot from Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.”

Because the company encourages using hip hop to make education fun, they’ve deemed rappers worthy of receiving the awards.

I wish I was making this up …. This is the problem with society we reward people for doing the wrong things, and try to make wrong right. There is nothing educational about anything Lil Wayne or Nicki Minaj do. Its simple entertainment it is what it is.. I’m not knocking Nicki Minaj or Lil wayne, but what is the educational value of their music ? They both teach a great lesson on what not to do. Rapping about gang banging, butt injections, using drugs, sex is this the new education ? I do think teachers should know what Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and others are rapping about to keep them relevant with their students. To say these two are the teachers of the year is disrespectful to all real teachers. Although the old saying says WE ARE ALL TEACHERS but what are you teaching ?
