Lil Bibby's last mixtape Free Crack 3 was released back in November of last year, and it's still ringing through the airwaves in February. "Ridah" is one of the singles from his upcoming album FC3: The Prequel, along with other tracks like "Sleeping on the Floor," "EBT to BET," "Word Around Town" and "Aww Man" with Future. Bibby just dropped the video for "Ridah," which you can watch above.

The song, produced by D.A. Doman, samples 'Pac talking at the end and borrows its hook from "Ambitionz." It finds Bibby spitting this excellent choppy flow that makes you anchor your attention to his rhythm. He's been refining his music while still making hard shit, and it sounds like he's hitting the right space sonically. Hip-hop could probably do without another take on "Ambitionz" but here the original doesn't encroach.

Bibby's Chicago cohort G Herbo inked a deal with Cinematic Music Group, but Bibby still seems to be maneuvering on his own via Kemosabe Records. The time feels right for him to offer up something his fans can support, and on March 18 he'll be dropping the album.

Speaking about his mindstate heading into this new record, Bibby told Vibe, "I learned a lot of new stuff about myself, man. I’m still trying to figure myself out. I ain’t going to say I learned everything about myself. I learn new stuff about myself everyday. And I’m trying to work on my patience. I’ve gotten way better since I was a kid but it’s still stuff that causes me to snap on people sometimes when they do little stuff that I don’t like."
