One of my favorite lecturers Santos Bonacci says that we are living in the Dark Ages and he does a wonderful job of explaining what is really happening right now on this planet and in the cosmos. One of the reasons why he says that we are living in the Dark Ages is because we exist in a binary system with our sister star Sirius and our distance at the present time from her position in the cosmos.

There is just way too much negative energy being transmitted in the world right now for someone to say to me that this is just the way things are with no reasoning or explanation—I do not just accept that, I try to find a reason why this or that is happening!
