29-year-old Brendon Glenn was a New York native who found himself homeless on the streets of Venice, CA. Today he is the latest hashtag in the fight against police killing of unarmed citizens. LAPD Police Chief says he is "very concerned" about this unjustified shooting.

The Venice Beach Community has come together to protest the police killing of yet another unarmed black man Tuesday night. The officer who was injured during the incident is a black man. This just goes to show that the issue is not always black and white. It's the unfair use of deadly force and aggression from the boys in BLUE that is the issue!

“Any time an unarmed person is shot by a Los Angeles police officer, it takes extraordinary circumstances to justify that,” Chief Charlie Beck said at a news conference. “I have not seen those extraordinary circumstances.”

Brendon Glenn attended a support group hours before he was killed on Venice Beach. The group leader said Mr. Glenn was crying and feeling hopeless after a talking to his mom back in NYC who said he's not welcome back home. I wonder how she feels today?
