The Earth stood still for a moment last night (April 12) as the news broke of Kobe Bryant’s injury. But amidst the rumors of retirement, Kobe is determine to beat all odds. Hear from him in his own words inside.
Last night, Kobe led the Lakers to a victory over the Golden State Warriors. But not before obtaining not one, not two, but THREE injuries on the court. Check it out:
OUCH!!! The last move tore his Achilles, an injury that has ended many athletes’ careers.
After the game, Kobe gave a very emotional interview, revealing that he will indeed be out for the rest of the season, but NOT for good!!
“I’m gonna look at other players with the same injury and what they’ve done. Look at who had more success coming back quicker and healthier. I’ll see what they did & how I can improve upon it.”

Kobe drew strength from one of his favorite Jay-Z lines as he prepared for MRI surgery and this uphill battle to full recovery. He posted the following on Facebook last night.
