It's been a while since Kanye West released an official single, so when Ty Dolla Sign took to twitter to announce that he was in the studio working on a track with Mr. West and Paul McCartney, the world took notice.

Ty Dolla Sign sings back-up on "Only One" and Paul McCartney is on the piano while Kanye delivers a poetic ode to 18 month old Nori.

But surprisingly the buzz wasn't about Kanye's gentle, emotional, heart-felt ballad to his daughter, written by hand, guided by the late Dr. Donda West.

Nor was Twitter noting how this is the first time any member of the Beatles ever collaborated with a hip-hop artist. They didn't even mention the questionable selection of Ty Dolla sign as the background singer of the song.

Nope. The web was all entangled with folks that never heard of Paul McCartney and assuming that he was some new artist that Kanye West was about to put on.

If you didn't know, Paul McCartney is a founding member of the most successful Rock n Roll band of all time, The Beatles. He was born June 18th (My Birthday) 1942 in Liverpool England and is properly known as SIR Paul McCartney, a member of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame! He has been recognised as one of the most successful composers and performers of all time, with 60 gold discs and sales of over 100 million albums and 100 million singles of his work with the Beatles and as a solo artist. Plus he did a couple songs with Michael Jackson!

According to our Traffic Watch Reporter Jon

"Any Kanye West Fan Who doesn't know who Paul McCartney is should re-evaluate their life"!
