Kanye West Named In Lawsuit For Beating Up Photographer

Photographer Michael Vazquez is suing hip-hop star Kanye West claiming his security detail beat and battered him during an event in May of 2008. Apparently Vazquez was at an event to photograph Kanye, who was paid $1 million dollars to appear and perform. Things turn for the worst after West's security caused injuries during the beating, which a dislocated shoulder. The lawsuit says "The assault and battery was committed by defendant, Kanye West, [his] agents, servants and/or employees, with malice". No comment from Kanye.
