Jim Jones’s ‘Perfect Day’ Is Dedicated To Cancer Patients [Video]
Harlem, New York rapper Jim Jones recently dropped the video for his new single “Perfect Day.” Jones sat down with former Denver Broncos star Darrell Reid to explain the inspiration for the track Perfect Day. “I lost my grandmother from cancer, I always wanted to dedicate something to her. The video is dedicated to anyone that’s affected by cancer, or have cancer or families that have been affected by cancer, and for the soldiers that don’t get to come home who have been at war for so long. I know a lot of people don’t expect this type of music for me. When I first put it out I been getting a lot of flack, like that’s not a regular Jim Jones song, like ‘where’s that Jim Jones sh*t at, where’s that ballin’ sh*t at. Then the same people that was telling me that two-three weeks ago is now like ‘the song’s alright, it’s growing on me.” Click below to view video.
