Ja Rule Turns Himself In To Begin Two-Year Prison Bid
Today Ja Rule begins serving his two-year sentence for weapons possession. Ja appeared at a courthouse earlier today after spending time with his family and close friends. According to reports his final words before entering the building were, “Real life is a fantasy, [expletive] fame… I’m ready for this to get over with. I am focused.” The rapper’s incarceration stems from a 2007 incident after he left a concert in NYC. Police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his vehicle after pulling him over.
